IBCP CORE
REFLECTIVE PROJECT
The IBCP 2 students are working towards submitting the first draft of their Reflective Project on the 27th of January 2023. They will receive feedback from their supervisors to be able to submit their final draft by the middle of February.
CP CORE PORTFOLIOS
IBCP2 students should ensure that all tasks for Language Development, Service Learning and Personal and Professional skills portfolios are completed and documented in their portfolios. They will have a final CP Core Portfolio Presentation that will determine the completion of the core components.
CRS UPDATES
IBCP2 Business and Hospitality students are going through their last unit in their CRS. This year, Pearson has resumed face to face evaluation visits to moderate students assessments for completed units. The first visit will be done in March 2023.
Y13 MOCK EXAMINATION
The IBCP2 students will have Mock exams for their DP subjects. The Mock Exams will start on the 27th of February and end on the 9th of March 2023. All the examination procedures and protocols stated in the IBDP subject are also applicable for IBCP students for their DP subjects. The timetable will be shared soon.
On the days that your ward does not have exams, we encourage them to come to school to work on their IAs and any incomplete work for their CP portfolios because they will have access to their teachers if they need support.
EXTENDED LESSONS FOR Y13
Students in Year 13 will have extended lessons till 4:00 pm from Monday, January 23, 2023 to Friday, February 17, 2023, to cover the syllabus for all DP subjects. IBCP students will need to attend the extended lessons for Language Literature, Economics and Maths AI. In addition to this, they will be required to attend school on Saturday 11th of February 2023 for extra Maths lessons and support.
Kindly take note of these dates and the change in closing times for Year 13 so that you can arrange for transportation for your wards. We will appreciate the support of all parents in ensuring that your wards are present to attend these mandatory lessons. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the CP coordinator.
VIRTUAL MEETING WITH Y13 PARENTS
DP & CP coordinators would like to request the presence of all Year 13 parents to a zoom meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 12:30pm on zoom for some important information as students prepare for their final examinations. The meeting will last from 12:30 – 1:15 pm, and we look forward to meeting you. On Monday, the meeting link will be shared with all Year 13 parents.
