Dear Parents,
As we proudly launch our first monthly newsletter for September, we invite you to join us in embracing the spirit of collaboration, growth, and community as we work towards a brighter future for our students. At ARIS, a strong and close-knit community is the reason for who we are today.
Through open communication, engagement, and shared values, we create an environment where every student feels valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their potential. Our collective efforts as a community guide us in building a dynamic and inclusive learning ecosystem that prepares our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Workshops
As we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of ARIS, we’ve been fortunate to organise a range of inspiring workshops and partnerships that greatly enhance our vision for the future of education.
Notable among them are:
- Inspire Citizen Workshops: These workshops have centred on deconstructing our Core Purpose of INSPIRE, EMPOWER, and Transform, as well as refining our understanding of what defines an ARIS STUDENT. More than 50 staff members attended the Workshop before we resumed our academic year.
- AISA Training with the Board and Senior Management Team: Our engagement with the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) has provided our Board and Senior Management Team with invaluable insights and tools for enhancing teaching practices and fostering a global perspective in our students. - Homa Tavangar from Big Question Institute: Our collaboration with Homa Tavangar, an esteemed educator from the Big Question Institute, has brought fresh perspectives to our Board and Leadership Team and the faculty to design our future together. A team of Faculty members, Senior Management team, Alumni and Board members will attend a series of sessions with her to start the process. Through thought-provoking discussions and workshops, we have delved into the future of education and ARIS’s pivotal role in shaping education not only for our community but also for the region.
With your support and active involvement, we are confident that ARIS will continue to serve as a beacon of education and inspiration. Let’s build a future where our students can flourish and make meaningful contributions to society.
