Dear Parents/Guardians,

With pleasure, I welcome you to our first monthly newsletter for the academic year of 2022-23.

We are looking forward to another exciting year of learning at ARIS.  Our faculty is committed to ensuring an outstanding learning experience for all our students as we support their development as lifelong learners and citizens. We are dedicated to the success of each student. 

 This year our goal isTo redesign our systems to optimise learning and Well Being through reflection and action.”

As we continue to ensure academic proficiency in our students, we will be developing the following critical skill for all students over the year——

  4. Collaboration Skill 
  5. Reflection                                         

As we work together throughout the year, I encourage you to let me know how you and your child(ren) adjust to school. We promise the students a rewarding and enjoyable school year through open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 On this note, I’d like to inform you that Mr. Francis Yeboah, our Humanities Facilitator, has left ARIS. We wish him the best of luck on his next professional journey. A skilled IB facilitator replaces him. She’ll be joining us in one week.

Extracurricular activities: A wide range of extracurricular activities are chosen to meet our students’ CAS and SA requirements. It is an excellent opportunity for our students to develop their leadership and creativity skills by leading some clubs.

16th September 2022 

SRC Election: Every year, our high school students vote for the Students Representative Council. This event allows our students to hone their soft skills, which will help them succeed in life after ARIS.

This SRC allows them to develop skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, organisation, and public speaking, all of which they will need in university.

Year 12 students will run in this election.

20th September 2022

Season 4 of ARISVERSITY Module 1 starts: This year we are again organising informative workshops for our parents. The workshop will be conducted by our IBDP, IBCP and IBMYP Coordinators. These workshops will provide an excellent opportunity for the parents to understand the core of the IB MYP, IBDP, and IBCP programs, their strengths, challenges, and learning experiences. At the end of this workshop, parents can support their children in following IB standards and practices. We encourage our parents to join and empower themselves. Details are available in our school stream apps.

Open House for Parents: In this open house, parents will have an opportunity to meet their child’s facilitator and understand the curriculum covered this semester. We will send more details closer to the date.  Kindly join us and encourage us to give our best to your child. 


Daily Schedule

Drop Off and Pick Up 

I appreciate our parents’ support by dropping off and picking up their kids on time.  We request other parents do the same. In case of an emergency, kindly call our front office and inform them of the reason.  

> Our office is open from 7.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  >We start our Homeroom for Registration at 7.45 am  >School closes at 3.25 PM.  >If your child participates in extracurricular activities, their pick-up time is 4.30 PM.

This academic year, our facilitators are using ManageBac not only for grade books and reports but also for attendance, communication, daily lesson activities, and tasks.
