WELLBEING HIGHLIGHTS (Jan 23)

Welcome to the new semester and a happy new year. We hope you had a restful time with your loved ones. Our focus this semester is on promoting the wellbeing and mental health of our students by helping them make informed decisions and building essential resilience skills.

Our modules will cover a wide range of topics, including self-care, stress management, communication, and building positive relationships, substance misuse, mental health, mindfulness, and sex education. We have noticed that some students are struggling with relating to each other, and we want to facilitate positive connections and understanding. To this end, we will be offering group discussions on topics such as active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution. Additionally, we will provide resources and guidance on how to build and maintain healthy relationships with friends and family.

We are also aware of the issues that schools worldwide are facing with the influx of illegal substances getting into the hands of young people. Therefore, we will provide education on the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of making informed decisions about drug and alcohol use.

We strive to help our students understand the importance of making informed decisions and taking responsibility for their behaviors. We will be working with a number of students to redesign our wellbeing curriculum to make it more relevant and tailored to the needs of our student community.

We look forward to working with our students to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are here to support you.
