IBCP Examination Registration

Registration for the May 2024 examination session is now open for CP students in Year 13. Please inform your wards to fill out the pre-registration form and submit a copy of the data page of their passports to the CP coordinator before Wednesday 20th September. It is important that students fill out this form accurately with their personal details, subjects, and levels. The form can be accessed by clicking on this link. Kindly note that the passport should not be expired.

BTEC Induction Session

All IBCP1 students were introduced to the requirements of the BTEC programme and what it will take for them to pass their courses successfully. The students received the learner handbook and went through it during presentations. Registration of the BTEC students on Pearson Edexcel will be complete by the end of September.

Pearson Progress- New Platform for CP students

In addition to ManageBac, IBCP students are introduced to a new platform called Progress. It is a new accessible and easy-to-use digital platform that has been designed to help teachers get closer to their learners by simplifying the planning and assessment of Pearson BTEC qualifications.

All CP1 and CP2 students are now registered on the new platform and taken through the interface to be used when submitting their tasks.

Reflective Project Deadlines

After researching and investigating topics for the Reflective Project, the CP2 students are now expected to start working on their essays. By the end of September 2023, the students should have their essay outline ready along with the list of primary and secondary resources. The first official interview with their supervisors should be completed by the end of September. You may refer to this document to see the reflective project deadlines.

CP Core Portfolios Presentation

By the end of the first semester, all CP2 core activities should be completed and documented in a digital portfolio for the students. Before the mid-semester break, a CP Core cafe will be conducted where CP2 students will present their progress. To support your ward at home, kindly ask them to share their activities and what they have completed so far.
